Assessment is an essential part of instruction. It is a valuable tool for teachers, as it serves as feedback on their class learning level and it allows them to evaluate and monitor each student’s achievements. It can also be used as a report to parents as well as for remedial purposes in areas of class- and/or student’s relative weakness.
