The book has two main objectives:

a. To develop the child’s ability to listen, comprehend, and express himself in Hebrew, using about 120 most frequently used words, presented in a pictorial form. Each picture is accompanied by the initial sound (first letter) of the pictured word. Putting consecutive pictures in the correct order forms short sentences.

b. To prepare the child for Hebrew reading using the phonics method. This book helps the young student to acquire important pre-reading skills through the repeated use of sounds associated with the Hebrew words taught.

The book is suitable for K-1.
